The ITSE OD Bead Chopper sets a new standard in weld bead chopping performance for tube and pipe mills. This self-feeding system automatically guides the continuous weld bead into the chopper head for precise, consistent cutting — eliminating the need for manual feeding. The design enhances operator safety, reduces handling effort, and maintains uniform performance across various line speeds and tube sizes.

Engineered for flexibility, the ITSE OD Bead Chopper performs efficiently on both low-speed and high-speed tube mill lines, and has been proven in production at 450 ft/min and above. Its heavy-duty design ensures long life, low maintenance, and smooth operation in demanding industrial environments.

ID Scarfing System

Cantilevered Style

Our custom-engineered cantilevered ID scarfing system is designed and manufactured specifically for each application, allowing us to add or modify features to meet individual user requirements.

The system uses a short, cantilevered scarfing bar mounted on a heavy-duty stand, providing easy setup and maintenance. The scarfing mandrel is a single piece of high-strength, non-magnetic alloy, and all coolant and hydraulic lines are incorporated into the bar. For specific applications, a lower support roll can be added to further stabilize the mandrel. The system can be configured with or without bead-chopper features depending on production needs.
